Our Story
Founder Paula and little Co-Founder Sofia missed their weekly treat during lockdown. They realized that DIY Boba at home wasn’t easy, so they searched for a better solution – delicious tea that’s fun, customizable, and good for the earth. And so, Milky Boba was born!

We've been working hard since our launch over a year ago, but we couldn’t have done it without you!

What is Boba?
Originating in Taiwan, bubble tea – aka pearl milk tea or boba tea – is a type of drink that is made from brewed tea mixed with fruit or milk and chewy tapioca balls known as pearls or bubbles. Bubble tea comes in a variety of flavors and can be served hot or cold. It is typically served with a wide straw so that the tapioca pearls can be sipped up along with the tea.
Is your packaging sustainable?
Our packaging is all either eco-friendly, compostable, or able to be recycled or reused for other fun and creative purposes. Check out Pinterest for some fun ways to reuse your glass jars.
How long do the ingredients last?
Please check the the best before date that can be found on the product label on the bottom of the product. The Boba and Popping Pearls can be used up to two weeks after opening and kept in the refrigerator.
Why is my tea so strong?
Brewing Milky Boba teas in less water, over a longer period of time, or with boiling hot water might leave your tea tasting a bit stronger or more bitter than you’d like. Try brewing your tea with a liter of warm (not boiling) water and only let it steep for a few minutes. Taste it to make sure it’s right for you.
Note: You can adjust the proportions of tea, milk, and sweetener to suit your personal taste. You can also experiment with different flavors and toppings, such as fruit syrups or different types of pearls.
How long after it ships will my order arrive?
As soon as your Milky Boba order ships, you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking number that you can monitor.
Do you ship internationally?
We do ship internationally
**Our shipping charges are for shipping costs only and do not cover import liabilities that may be applied by the government of the destination country. Milky Boba does not accept any responsibility for customs delays, duties or taxes that may apply in the destination country. Under no circumstance will Milky Boba accept any orders back due to a rejection of custom's charges. For further information, we recommend you contact your local customs office.**

Do you offer returns?
At Milky Boba, we offer a 7-day refund policy if your order arrives broken or tainted in undamaged packaging, for which we will ship out a replacement free of charge or we will refund your broken item.
Full refunds and replacements are not guaranteed for lost/missing/damaged parcels.
Unfortunately, we do not accept returns or exchanges based on you changing your mind. When you’re shopping, please choose carefully and contact us with any questions.
